But even with this uncertain scenario, that hasn\u2019t stopped them from working hard to launch updates and new features to their users.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the <a href=\"https:\/\/pingback.com\/en\/resources\/twitter-feed-algorithm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">feed algorithm<\/a>, created to provide a better user experience while navigating the platform, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/pingback.com\/en\/resources\/twitter-edit-button\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">edit button<\/a>, which allows users to post-editing their tweets, Twitter rolls out mixed media tweets for all users worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>This brand-new Twitter update allows creators and brands to upload up to 4 images, videos, and\/or GIFs in one tweet. All 4 media can be in the same format, or you can mix them as you like. Not everyone\u2019s going to jump on that right away, sure, but even the most text-obsessed users are likely to experiment, if only out of curiosity. I mean, when brands can drop a meme, a GIF reaction, and a product demo video all in the same post, you end up with something less predictable\u2014and potentially way more fun.<\/p>\n<p>This shift opens up new ways to build community, too, even if it\u2019s not all sunshine. With mixed media, creators can interact with their audience using a weird blend of formats, kind of like how conversations happen in real life\u2014sometimes it\u2019s words, sometimes a raised eyebrow, sometimes a frantic hand gesture (well, the GIF version of that, anyway). It\u2019s not that Twitter\u2019s trying to become Instagram or TikTok, exactly, but you can feel them learning from what works elsewhere. Not by chance, <a href=\"https:\/\/pingback.com\/en\/resources\/every-video-a-reel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram is increasingly investing in Reels<\/a>, very similar to TikTok\u2019s format.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, it is undeniable that consumers today love videos and often <a href=\"https:\/\/pingback.com\/en\/resources\/gen-z-searching-on-tiktok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">prefer them to other types of content<\/a>.
