Since our Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is Life below water, the game focuses a lot on underwater population. You learn about sustainable fishing practices and the maintenance of life in the seas (information like characteristics, population status, etc.). Also, during the story progression, you learn that the island you’re stranded on is actually the top of a mountain that got flooded due to climate change and the waters rising.
Although life underwater is the main SDG here, others were also approached in a smaller scale. For example, number 11, which is sustainable cities and communities and number 13, climate action. Through that we are aiming to make people reflect on how they are living in the current society and how that can affect their future, leading to catastrophic results. It is essentially a call to action, making people change their habits and maybe bring about some change in the world.
Furthermore, with the mini-games included in the game we wish to make people im-prove their reflexes and focus. In a way making their brains more active to challenging tasks that they might face during the day.
