Post-apocalyptic fishing game. | ||
It opens with the main character stranded on an island with no memory, and through the game you discover that you're actually on the top plateau of a mountain of a continent that got flooded by the rising sea level. You find out by fishing out old TVs, messages in bottles and other artefacts revealing information about the past. | ||
The main goal of the game is to fish. You fish for different fish species, that you can trade with pelicans (in suits) for an invented currency. | ||
There's also a lot of minigames to earn resources to better your skillset, upgrade your equipment and base. | ||
Fishing mechanic: | ||
The fishing for fish or trash is done with the following mechanic: your fishing hook gets submerged into a trench, goes deeper and deeper, you have to avoid hitting bumps and rocks while you go down. The deeper you go, the better the fish/trash get, once you touch something, it gets on your hook and it goes back up. But if you hit a rock, you also start going back up. | ||
